– Runway 1-19’s RSA Improvements

On the SFO Runway 1-19’s RSA Improvement Project we utilized our vast and skilled paving resources, our industry relationships, our asphalt producing and trucking expertise and our extensive knowledge of airfield construction to complete more than $1 million of runway safety area improvements per day over a three month period.

This $95 million project was the largest airfield construction project undertaken at SFO in the last 50 years. The Team completed the work one month ahead of schedule, with no lost time accidents, under budget, meeting or exceeding the stringent FAA contract quality requirements, and achieved substantial completion with no unresolved issues or claims.
