DeSilva Gates and our associated company Gallagher and Burk, Inc. have performed numerous successful projects at the Port of Oakland. A key component to performing Port work is to construct it in a manner that minimizes disruption to the cargo handling facilities. DeSilva Gates has the expertise and resources to perform the Port work in this manner. We are proud to say that these Port of Oakland projects were all constructed using construction labor, materials and truckers primarily from the Oakland and surrounding areas.

Recent examples of our successful port and marine work include $4.2M Former Oakland Army Base Ancillary Use Phase 2, the $17M Berths 30-33 Yard and Gate Redevelopment project, the $13M Berth 32 Yard Reconstruction and the $52M Berth 57-59 Container Yard & Gate .
