DeSilva Gates has delivered hundreds of successful projects via the traditional bid-build method to public owners of all types throughout Northern California. Since the early 1980s DeSilva Gates has been a major contributor to the maintenance and improvement of California’s infrastructure as a good partner to all of our public clients.
DeSilva Gates Construction has successfully developed sites for our residential, commercial and industrial clients since our inception in 1932. Because we have consistently been able to deliver projects more quickly than our competition while maintaining competitive pricing we have a long list of repeat clients. Negotiating repeat contracts with developers, building contractors and home builders has been a key component of our corporate success for decades.
DeSilva Gates Construction collaborates with owners and their design teams to develop the most cost-effective, safe and innovative solutions for projects and delivers them in an accelerated time-frame using alternative delivery methods such as CM/GC, Design-Build and Public/Private Partnerships (P3).

DeSilva Gates has a vast supply of corporate resources, including an equipment fleet valued at $200 million and a staff of more than 300 professional personnel. Through these resources, DeSilva Gates is capable of self-performing large portions of work, including demolition, excavation, trucking, earthwork and hazardous materials removal.
DeSilva Gates Construction is an industry leader in the utilization of GPS and UTS grade control technologies on a wide range of applications. With a fleet of more than 70 machines equipped with Trimble automated machine guidance systems, new and experienced operators have delivered dramatic improvements in grading and paving production, efficiency and quality.
